This sensational 1930s evening gown is fashioned from a soft black bias cut crepe fabric and falls snugly over the hips with a gentle outwards flare towards the ankle. The gold silk bodice is embossed with a delicate brush stroke design and draws closely at a curve below the bust in an empire style waistline. There is a horizontal neckline featuring wide straps that slant in towards the bust and are embellished with oversized buttons in matching gold silk.
