This season sees the late Virgil Abloh’s Off-White and Nike collaborate to deliver another innovative sneaker collaboration - these bold Air Force 1 Mid’s. Fitted with typical Off-White details, including: zip-ties, contrasting tabs at the profile swooshes and “deconstructed” builds, the pair also feature pine green leather uppers and “OFF” in Virgil’s handwriting on the right heel.
Virgil Abloh presents a relatively straightforward take on Bruce Kilgore’s design with this Off-White x Air Force 1 Low. That isn’t to suggest there aren’t unique details on the reconstructed build: in addition to a mix of ripstop and suede, the upper features taped seams and a white Swoosh attached via zigzag stitching. Exposed foam and misplaced tags appear on the tongue, while ‘LOGO’ inscribed on the heel tab delivers a final meta flourish.

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid ‘White’ gives the vintage hoops shoe a fashionable makeover that carries on the visionary legacy of Virgil Abloh. The mid-top carries a white mesh upper, enlivened with a subtle woodgrain print and accented with a translucent Swoosh. In addition to an adjustable ankle strap, the sneaker is secured with traditional laces and a secondary set that feeds through Flywire cables.
